Chad Burkhardt is Managing Director, Strategic Capital at CenterSquare Investment Management, where he leads the firm’s opportunistic real estate platform focused on investments in real estate operating companies and platform-level opportunities. Since joining CenterSquare in 2013, he has held multiple senior roles and currently serves on the firm’s Private Real Estate, Strategic Capital, and Essential Service Retail investment committees. Prior to CenterSquare, Burkhardt led acquisitions for a New York-based single-family office investing in distressed real estate in the United States and Puerto Rico. Earlier, he was a Vice President at D.E. Shaw & Co., overseeing commercial real estate acquisitions and real estate credit investments, and began his career in Global Principal Investments at Merrill Lynch & Co., investing in commercial real estate debt and equity.
