Bio
Chad Shuskey serves as the Executive Vice President for WDCEP.
Mr. Shuskey is instrumental in positioning the organization as an information clearinghouse and a leader in research on real estate development and construction activity in Washington, DC.
His primary responsibilities include implementation and strategy for WDCEP’s real estate practice. This includes site location analysis for business attraction and retention efforts; management of the WDCEP’s website and Geographical Information Systems (GIS); and collection of development information and economic indicators for the District of Columbia.
Additionally, Mr. Shuskey oversees production of the WDCEP’s publications and on-line tools. Chief among these are The DC Development Report, an annual census of the real estate development activity in the District of Columbia; Retail Site Search, an interactive catalog of available and forthcoming retail space in the District of Columbia; Development Search, and interactive database of development projects; and Neighborhood Profiles, an annual series offering demographic and other information about 50+ neighborhoods across the District of Columbia.
Mr. Shuskey has worked for the Washington DC Economic Partnership since 2001. He previously held the titles of Research Analyst, Manager of Research & Information and then Director, Research & Visual Communications. His responsibilities have grown from assisting in research, GIS and publication projects to overseeing those initiatives.
