Current responsibilities
Charles Crapse is a Senior Vice President for the firm’s Florida-based Capital Markets Team. In this capacity Charles is focused on assisting clients in the financing and disposition of investment properties throughout Florida.
Over the last 13 years Charles has had senior-level responsibility at every facet of the capital structure; including as a lender, owner and advisor.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Charles was a Portfolio Manager at Bayview Asset Management, a Miami-based private equity fund, where he oversaw a national, $150 million portfolio of non-performing commercial real estate loans and REO assets.
In this capacity Charles oversaw the renovation and implementation of value-add strategies on commercial REO assets throughout the country.
Charles brings extensive capital markets experience to the team, having brokered the sale of over 29,000 apartment units totaling over $3 billion in value during his previous tenure as a broker at CB Richard Ellis.
While at CBRE Charles represented numerous institutional and major private capital investors, including RREEF, AIMCO, Henderson Partners and Harbert Realty.
Education
Charles received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
