Charlie Friedler serves as Vice President of Leasing at Avgi, a newly launched venture where he leads all leasing strategy and portfolio initiatives. He is also Owner of BSD Property Partners, a boutique firm specializing in consulting, repositioning, and strategic advisory for retail assets.
Previously, Friedler was Vice President of Leasing & Management at Cityview Commercial, where over five years he oversaw the redevelopment, repositioning, and lease-up of more than 8 million square feet of retail and mixed-use space, as well as 450+ residential units. During his tenure, he executed an extraordinary volume of leases in a short period, bringing the portfolio to 98% occupancy through renewals and new deals with national, regional, and mom-and-pop tenants.
Friedler’s expertise spans leasing strategy, tenant mix optimization, portfolio repositioning, vendor management, and capital improvements. Notable initiatives include occupancy turnarounds at underperforming properties and operational optimizations that significantly enhanced portfolio performance.
Now leading Avgi and BSD Property Partners, Friedler applies his proven track record to new ventures, focusing on strategic consulting, retail repositioning, and maximizing portfolio value for clients and partners.
