Chip Conk is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Montecito Medical Real Estate, where he oversees the firm’s strategic vision and growth initiatives. Under his leadership, Montecito has become one of the largest privately held acquirers of medical office buildings in the United States, completing more than $6 billion in healthcare real estate transactions.
Conk brings more than three decades of entrepreneurial experience across publishing, residential real estate, and healthcare real estate. Prior to founding Montecito Medical, he established and led Montecito Property Company, which acquired and converted large multifamily portfolios into condominium communities.
He is widely recognized within the industry, including being named Healthcare Real Estate Executive of the Year by Healthcare Real Estate Insights in 2021 and earning multiple distinctions as a leading influencer in healthcare real estate.
