45+ years experience in the real estate industry as the founder, owner and broker of Hanmi Realty in Flushing since 1978 as the first Korean American owned real estate brokerage in NYC. An experienced property investor, manager, developer, notary, founder, first president and currently one of the board of directors within the Korean American Realty Association "KARA".
Former Queens community board #7 member. The board plays an important advisory role in dealing with land use and zoning matters; the City budget; municipal services; and many other matters relating to the community such as transportation, housing, education, youth, and senior issues. Also a former board of director for the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS) is the oldest and largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization assisting Korean Americans and other immigrant communities in the Greater New York City area with economic empowerment, social well-being, health and wellness.
