Prior to Colliers, Chris held an extensive 23-year career serving clients as a leading expert in the Gulf Coast area. For almost 13 years, he served as the Vice President and Manager of the Commercial Brokerage Division of Stirling Properties covering the Gulf South states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. He spent his first 10 years at Stirling brokering retail, office, and industrial sales and leases with a heavy emphasis in the retail sector. He has represented national brands such as Walgreens, Verizon, and CVS as well as smaller yet recognizable brands such as H&R Block, Smoothie King, Citi Trends, and Shoe Department. His extensive experience spans from developer site selection, acquisitions, leasing varying sized shopping centers, complex dispositions, and repositions. Mr. Abadie is a graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Chris Abadie partners with clients to achieve their Commercial Real Estate goals in all asset classes. He has successfully brokered retail tenant and landlord transactions, investment sales, office leases, and industrial leases and sales. Chris leads Colliers’ business expansion efforts across the state of Louisiana. He will leverage his extensive leadership history within the business community and deep local connections to drive growth efforts in New Orleans and other key markets across the state.
Chris a member of the charitable Men of Steel Organization in Slidell, LA. Personally, along with his wife Gisele, he is a member of the Poseidon Carnival Organization in East St. Tammany Parish, where they currently reign as King and Queen Poseidon IX.
