Bio
Chris Carter was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a
bachelor’s degree in Business. He began his career with George Rohrig, Tommy Bond and Chauncey
Battey at Cartel Realty. Working with these real estate moguls has allowed him to gain extensive
experience representing Landlords and Tenants in most areas of commercial real estate.
Specifically, Chris has specialized in mixed-use developments and restaurants. On major projects, he’s
worked closely with several prominent developers assembling land, rezoning, permitting, building
design, pro forma market analysis, marketing and completing the projects with the sale or lease
negotiations. Chris is highly effective at developing the proper tenant mix tailored to each development.
Chris is skilled in macro and micro economical analysis of commercial real estate trends. He has
experience building forecasting models, evaluating the financial feasibility and conducting site and trade
area analysis for proposed new developments.
