Chris Fencel is responsible for land acquisition, feasibility analysis, due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, entitlement, permitting, design, and construction of Class A industrial-logistics speculative and build-to-suit buildings. He coordinates Hillwood’s teams, 3 -party vendors, and tenants to deliver projects, market properties for lease, negotiate lease transactions, construct tenant improvements, and stabilize development assets.
Since joining Hillwood in 2013, Chris has developed 4.5M SF in critical supply-chain markets of the Northeast. He continues to focus on development opportunities in Central PA, Lehigh Valley, and surrounding markets.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in real estate development in the commercial office, retail, residential and industrial markets. Before joining Hillwood, Chris served as Director of Development for Cedar Realty Trust (f/k/a Cedar Shopping Centers, Inc.) in the Mid-Atlantic area. At Atlantic Realty Companies in Vienna, VA, he served in various development capacities, including Vice President of Development & Construction, concentrating on ground-up development and redevelopment projects in Metro Washington DC/Baltimore markets.
