Bio
Chris developed a passion for real estate early in life, obtaining his real estate license at age 19 while attending college. Since then, he has remained actively engaged in the industry as an advisor, attorney, investor, and builder. He holds both a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License and a Florida General Contractor’s License.
Chris’s practice focuses on healthcare real estate investments, including medical office and office sales and leasing, as well as new development projects. He has represented a wide range of clients—health systems, healthcare REITs, medical office building owners, investors, landlords, and tenants—at the local, regional, and national levels. As a trusted medical real estate advisor and broker, Chris provides both landlord and tenant representation, delivering results-driven solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulatory statutes.
He advises owners and investors of single-tenant and multi-tenant medical properties, healthcare providers, and medical practice groups on acquisitions, dispositions, site selection, development, and Section 1031 tax-deferred exchange strategies. His approach is highly collaborative, working closely with healthcare-focused accountants, attorneys, and lenders to execute complex transactions efficiently and strategically.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law. For more than two decades, he has been deeply involved in his community, volunteering with charitable organizations and coaching his children’s baseball, softball, football, and soccer teams. He is an active volunteer and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has served multiple years on its Board of Directors.
Chris has proudly served his country for more than 21 years in the U.S. Navy and currently holds the rank of Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He is a member of SIOR and CCIM, the local Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved in the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee, which works to strengthen relationships between the civilian and military communities.
Chris and his wife have three children and four grandchildren.
