Bio
As principal of Elevation Real Estate Group, Chris oversees all aspects of the company’s development, acquisition, and value-add activities. As a 30-year real estate veteran, he brings a wealth of leadership and experience in development, design, construction and operations to the Elevation team.
During his career, Chris has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of over $2 billion in commercial real estate including more than 4 million square feet of retail properties and multiple hotel properties. Prior to co-founding Elevation, he served as Managing Director of Gemini Real Estate Advisors, a $1 billion retail and hospitality investment and operating firm that he co-founded in 2003.
Chris has served in several leadership positions including: Director of Development with Brookline Development Company LLC, where he sourced and managed developments; Director of Construction and Design for Levine Properties, where he handled the development and restoration of commercial buildings; Director at Glenwood Development Company, where he designed and developed grocery-anchored retail centers, hotels, and office buildings; and Project and Design Manager for Pyramid Companies, where he renovated several existing properties and assisted in the design and coordination of new regional malls.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Delhi and has been a registered architect in New York. Chris also holds a North Carolina Real Estate Brokers License, and is a member of both the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
