Chris Rutherford comes to Affordable Suites of America with over 20 years of hotel industry experience. He has overseen the overall operations of the brand since 2009 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Chris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration. Most recently, he was with Strand Development Company as a Regional Director of Operations. He has extensive General Management experience with many of the hotel brands such as Extended Stay Hotels, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Sheraton, Ramada, Marriott and AmeriSuites. Chris is married and has 2 children and resides in Wilmington, North Carolina.
