He is married to Susie (Beiler). They own a farm in the Little Britain area of Southern Lancaster County. His interests include just about anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loves history and enjoys traveling to places full of historic buildings and legends. (He grew up in the Oxford area of Chester County, more specifically "Hickory Hill" for those with local knowledge of the area). He has experience in dairy, mushrooms, crop farming and equestrian operations. His father was a dairyman, mushroom grower, and crop farmer. His mother was an avid horse person.
