Bio
As Director of Asset Management, Christian Fretz is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, budgeting, and strategic business plan execution across Reliant’s self-storage portfolio. Prior to joining Reliant Real Estate Management, Mr. Fretz was Vice President of Investments at TriCore Investment Group, where he led acquisitions and asset management for the firm’s self-storage platform. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Investments at Simply Self Storage, then a Blackstone portfolio company, where he focused on acquisitions and asset management and contributed to the successful sale of the company to Public Storage in 2023. He also held positions at Starwood Property Trust, where he was responsible for originating over $1.1 billion in securitized commercial real estate loans. Mr. Fretz earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.
