Since joining CBRE in 2005, Chris has completed in excess of 24 million square feet of transactions representing tenants and has been recognized as a CBRE Americas Top Producer in seven of the past eight years.
From 2005-2019, Chris was a key member in the NYC Consulting division where he focused on strategic planning, negotiating and deal structuring while developing a deep understanding of the economic and financial statement implications of various real estate transactions.
Chris has recently advised some of the top asset management and consulting firms including Apollo (various), Bain Consulting (1114 Avenue of the Americas), Boston Consulting Group (10 Hudson Yards), Corsair Capital (550 Madison Avenue), Davidson Kempner Capital Management (520 Madison Avenue), Iconiq Capital (various), Kelso & Co (299 Park Avenue), Maverick Capital (425 Park Avenue), Northern Trust (390 Park Avenue), Ruane Cunniff & Goldfarb (45 Rockefeller Plaza), Sound Point Capital (375 Park Avenue) and Stone Point Capital.
Over the last decade, Chris has also completed some of the Tri-State area’s most noteworthy transactions. In 2019, he represented Deerfield Management in its 320,000-sq.-ft. acquisition of 345 Park Avenue South where Deerfield is building NYC’s premier life sciences innovation hub. In 2018 & 2021, he represented Hudson River Trading in its 210,000-sq.-ft. expansion to 3 World Trade Center after initially leasing 70,000 sq. ft. at 4 World Trade Center in 2016. In 2017, he represented Interactive Brokers in its 160,000-sq.-ft. lease in Greenwich, CT—the largest transaction in Greenwich in over a decade.
In 2016, Chris represented the National Hockey League in its 180,000-sq.-ft. relocation to 1 Manhattan West, the first new office tower in Brookfield’s 5 million-sq.-ft. development project in the Hudson Yards. The transaction won the Real Estate Board of New York’s Henry Hart Rice award as the Most Ingenious Deal, REBNY’s top honor. In that same year, Chris also represented Major League Baseball in its 400,000-sq.-ft. consolidation to 1271 Avenue of the Americas, a finalist for the REBNY Ingenious Deal award; and Citadel in its 211,000-sq.-ft. anchor lease at 425 Park Avenue, the first new development on Park Avenue in 50 years.
Prior to joining CBRE, Chris graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1997 and received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in 2001, where he was a captain of the Men’s Varsity Ice Hockey team, captured two Ivy League Championships and was a 4th round draft pick of the Washington Capitals in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Following his graduation from Princeton, Chris played four years of professional ice hockey, notably for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and in Slovenia, where his team captured the national championship.
Chris currently resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife Lauren and their two children.
