Mr. DeAngelis has extensive experience working in the real estate development, acquisition and management fields. As a founder of TriArch Real Estate Group, LLC (“TriArch”), Mr. DeAngelis currently owns and operates a portfolio of multi-family and mixed-use properties in Manhattan and Queens, the majority of which are subject to rent regulation. Mr. DeAngelis leads all asset and property management functions on behalf of TriArch, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, apartment renovations, capital improvements, reporting to investors and management of project budgets, cash flow projections and tenant buyouts.
Prior to founding TriArch, Mr. DeAngelis spent five years working for real estate developer Forest City Ratner Companies (“FCRC”) in the Residential Development group, where he was responsible for sourcing deals and assisted in managing the development activities of a 1 million square foot, $800 million ground-up luxury rental development in lower Manhattan (8 Spruce Street). While at FCRC, Mr. DeAngelis worked on various development projects and was part of a team that managed commercial and residential properties valued in excess of $1 billion, and was a member of the commercial office leasing team for a 10-building, 8-million square foot portfolio in Downtown Brooklyn.
Mr. DeAngelis grew up in New York City, attending the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School before graduating from Boston College in 2002. Mr. DeAngelis lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and son.
