Mr. Komae is Co-Founder and Partner at Artisan Realty Advisors. Mr. Komae is responsible for the execution of all acquisition, development, redevelopment and asset management projects for the firm. Prior to co-founding Artisan Realty Advisors, Mr. Komae was Director of Acquisitions and Development for Tishman Speyer in Southern California. Mr. Komae was involved in all aspects of the firm's Southern California business including the development of over 630,000 square feet in Playa Vista known as the Collective and Brickyard projects. During his 4-year tenure at Tishman Speyer, Mr. Komae executed the acquisition and development of over 2.5 million square feet of office properties totaling over $1.5 billion of transaction value. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Mr. Komae was a Consultant at CBRE (NYSE: CBG) in the Financial Consulting Group and focused on office, retail and industrial investment sales underwriting and marketing. Mr. Komae has also worked for BioMed Realty Trust, UBS and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Komae graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Mr. Komae is an active member of LACRA and ULI, and is a co-founder of the M Street Association.
