Cory Gahr is a Managing Director at Lee & Associates NYC, where he advises tenants, landlords, and companies on office and retail real estate strategy across New York City and national markets. With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate advisory and transaction execution, Cory specializes in tenant representation, lease negotiations, and strategic real estate advisory, helping clients align real estate decisions with broader operational and financial objectives.
Cory advises clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services, legal, fitness, wellness, childcare, and professional services. He guides organizations through every stage of the real estate process, including market analysis, site selection, financial underwriting, and lease negotiations.
Over the course of his career, Cory has been involved in transactions exceeding $300 million in aggregate value across office and retail sectors. His experience includes representing both emerging and established companies, as well as ownership groups and landlords, on headquarters, expansion, and leasing assignments throughout New York City and national markets. Recent engagements include retail transactions for Hydrogen Fitness and Dill Dinkers, along with office advisory assignments for firms including Johnson Van Kwawegen, Liu Shur Kravis, Dunn Isaacson & Rhee, and Leichtman Law.
Prior to commercial real estate, Cory began his career at Endeavor (WME) in Los Angeles and New York, where he developed a strong foundation in negotiation, client representation, and strategic advisory services.
Cory earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed postgraduate studies at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
