Courtney joined American Campus Communities in 2008 as a Community Assistant in Tallahassee, FL. Over the years, she rapidly advanced through the operations ranks across several communities at Florida State University, transitioning from Community Assistant to General Manager and holding various roles in between. Her passion for leasing and marketing led her to the home office in 2013, where she has taken on several key positions, most recently serving as Vice President of Leasing & Marketing.
With over 15 years of experience in leasing, both in the field and from Austin, Courtney has effectively navigated numerous challenging leasing seasons, providing strategic guidance to our markets. She has been instrumental in developing members of our exceptional Leasing and Marketing Development (LMD) team, overseeing the rigorous lease document review process and advancing systems and processes that enhance community support. Her collaborative approach and strong relationships across departments set a high standard within the organization.
As the Senior Vice President of Leasing, Courtney leads the Leasing support team (LVP/LMD), manages revenue management pricing functions, and drives advancements in leasing initiatives outlined in the Tech Roadmap. She continues to report directly to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
Courtney is a proud graduate of the Inside Track program, having completed it in 2011 and 2022. In 2022, she was honored as Employee of the Year – Home Office.
