Craig M. Franzen serves as an advisor of Net Lease Retail for SVN Chicago. As a leader in net lease retail, Craig specializes in advisory consulting and the disposition and acquisition of multi-tenant and single-tenant net-leased properties throughout the Midwest. Working with developers and private capital in coordinating the entire transaction process from street level analysis and initial underwriting to pricing, financing, due diligence, marketing and successful close of escrow has given Craig a deep understanding of commercial real estate.
Prior to joining SVN, Craig began his career in the industry in 2000 on the principal side, as Vice President and Director of Development with a family-run retail development company, helping retailers to identify and reposition underutilized properties as build-to-suit expansion opportunities. In recent years on the brokerage side, he's worked for two national brokerage firms, helping clients utilize the resources to make informed investment decisions with the goal of preserving equity and increasing cash-flow, thereby adding value to their investment
