Craig joined C&R in 1986, became a partner in 1996, and has been President of the company since 2011. After attending the University of Oregon, Craig started his career in Eugene Oregon, working in the construction industry and founded McConachie Construction Co. He transitioned from construction in 1984, accepting a position as a Regional Property Manager with Assured Property Management, managing multifamily, commercial and industrial projects in the Eugene area.
In 1986 he moved his family to Portland and began his tenure with C&R Real Estate Services Co. He obtained his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1989, while managing a diverse portfolio at C&R. After becoming a partner in 1996, Craig spearheaded the company’s growth in the property management division, building on the company’s strong reputation and integrity. He was a founding member of the Metro Multifamily Housing Association (currently Multifamily NW), and served as the President in 1996. In 2012, the association honored him with the prestigious Ross Dey Award, in recognition of his contributions to the multifamily housing industry. He currently serves on the Apartment Report Committee and the Legislative Committee.
