Bio
Creative thinking and problem solving are Crosse’s strong suits. Working closely with Oliver Smith IV, his father, has instilled within him professional communication skills and a strong understanding of how to analyze and understand commercial real estate and development transactions. Crosse is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor’s in history and business. At the University, Crosse played a leading role in bringing back the Sigma Chi Fraternity as a Founding Father of the Beta Sigma Chapter. He hopes to continue his family’s multi-generational business beyond its 100th anniversary and preserve the firm’s core values that have helped shape East Tennessee’s landscape. As the fourth generation Oliver Smith within the company, Crosse plans to eventually take the reins of leadership, as well as continue his pursuit of other entrepreneurial endeavors within the region. Outside of the office, Crosse can be found enjoying his passion as a musician and attending live venues.
