Cuyler's enthusiasm and appreciation for the Lowcountry comes from his Charleston roots. He grew up there and has lived in Charleston most of his life. After graduating from the Taft School in Connecticut, Cuyler spent a year abroad studying Business Management and International Relations at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Cuyler returned to the area and finished his degree at the College of Charleston. Upon graduation, he worked as a recovery auditor for several years before leaving to earn his Masters Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel's College of Graduate Studies. In 2006, Cuyler began his real estate career. After several years as a highly respected agent in Charleston, he decided to open Applegate Real Estate in 2014. As an active agent in both the commercial and residential markets, he has experience working through zoning issues, variances, and land easements. He also has a strong understanding of the historical nature of Charleston properties, having worked through the approval process with the Board of Architectural Review (BAR), Historic Charleston Foundation and the Preservation Society. These experiences, combined with his insights and knowledge of home buying and selling enable Cuyler to help you with any of your real estate needs. Cuyler resides in Charleston with his wife and two children.
