Dan Russ joined Transwestern in 2009 primarily responsible for tenant and landlord representation, property acquisition, new development and real estate consulting in the commercial / retail, multi family residential, industrial and office fields. Over the past 30 years Dan has completed transactions totaling over 12,000,000 square feet in 8 different states across the country.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Dan has hands on experience in the commercial real estate business, from the management of a 45 person regional real estate firm to the development and ownership on his own behalf of over $100,000,000 of commercial real estate. Dan was one of the founding employees for Welsh Companies, a Midwest regional commercial real estate firm, and worked there for over 20 years. During that time, he was responsible for the development of over 4,000,000 square feet of office and industrial space in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. During his career, Dan has also been responsible for the cultivation of private and institutional owners for third party management, sale and leasing.
Dan owned a development and construction company in Florida for more than 4 years. He has owned and developed a commercial real estate company, a construction company, and has developed projects across the country. Dan brings to Transwestern a unique set of skill sets that allow him understand and know all aspects of a real estate transaction.
