Daniel’s real estate development business began 30+ years ago when he created a residential community near Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Since 1997, he has been a commercial property owner, manager, and developer of an 81,000 square foot multi-story, multi-tenant (including retail) office building in Frederick, Maryland, which include Government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and regional and small businesses and non-profits. He is a Captain, US Navy (Retired), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of National Association of Realtors, and a former member of the National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP – the Commercial Real Estate Development Association) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Under Daniel’s leadership, Cross & Company strives to create communities and workplaces meant to help others flourish in what they do best – from hard work in a new business start up, to hard work at an established defense contractor, to secure work spaces for those in service to our government, to the hardest and most joyful work of raising a family in a safe, friendly, and environmentally sound new neighborhood.
