Daniel Figard serves as Director of Asset Management at Whitestone REIT, where he is based in Houston, Texas. In his current role, Figard is responsible for overseeing asset-level strategy and performance across Whitestone’s portfolio of neighborhood-focused, open-air retail properties in high-growth Sun Belt markets. Figard joined Whitestone REIT in 2016 and previously served as Corporate Strategy Manager and Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy, where he supported enterprise-level strategic initiatives, portfolio optimization, and performance analysis. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly six years at Deloitte, serving as a Manager and advising clients across financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational improvement engagements. In addition to his corporate role, Figard has served as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business since 2022, teaching graduate-level coursework and contributing to real estate and finance education. His background reflects a blend of institutional real estate experience, strategic consulting, and academic engagement.
