Bio
Before starting Blue Dock, David helped launch Preferred Investments as a Principal in 2016 and spent nine years establishing a proven record of project execution. At Preferred, David was responsible for leading his projects through every step of their lifecycle - from sourcing, underwriting, leasing, and development, to sales.
Prior to joining Preferred, David sourced, underwrote, and managed acquisitions at Actua, a public growth equity firm focused on majority stake growth investments. David started his career as an investment banking analyst at William Blair & Company in San Francisco, where he focused on sell-side M&A execution.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Financial Analysis from Indiana University.
When he’s not in the office, David can usually be found with his wife and three young sons, preferably all together on a golf course. Gotta teach ‘em young.
