David James Hunt's journey into real estate investing is a testament to his deep-rooted passion for property and a life shaped by diverse experiences. Growing up, David was exposed to the world of real estate through his biological father's successful brokerage in the UK. However, he chose to forge his own path independently, driven by a determination to make his mark in the world.
His first career in the wine industry took him to the renowned Sonoma and Napa Valley, where he not only fell in love with winemaking but also met his future wife, Carrie. Inspired by his experiences in the Italian wine country, David aspired to own his vineyard estate and winery someday. He relocated to Napa Valley, where he honed his skills for winemaking, vineyard management and founded his own wine production company, specializing in high-quality rosé wines.
Throughout this time, David's entrepreneurial spirit led him to concurrently establish a wine touring and transportation business, catering to affluent tourists in Napa and Sonoma County. This venture not only showcased his world-class customer service skills but also exposed him to the intricacies of the region's properties. It was during this period that he realized the natural alignment between his interests, his wife's expertise in commercial and residential construction developments, and a burgeoning interest in real estate.
David's propensity for embracing new opportunities and his passion for the beauty of Northern California culminated in his decision to pursue a real estate career. Moving around frequently in his early life, David found a sense of belonging in Sonoma County, where for the past decade he happily resides with Carrie and their two sons and daughter in Healdsburg, CA. His appreciation for the area's natural allure, fantastic weather, and vibrant entrepreneurial spirit motivates him to help others relocate, invest, and put down roots in this incredibly special region. During his down time with family you’ll find David dirt biking, mountain biking, camping, or boating with his family throughout Northern California.
