David Kaye is an Executive Managing Director of GFP Real Estate where he oversees over 1 million square feet of office including 230 Fifth Avenue, 1560 Broadway, 630 Ninth Ave to name a few. David has been involved in real estate investing and capital markets for 16 years completing over $500.0 million of transactions. From 2007-2009, David worked as the Director of Acquisitions for Armstrong Capital where led the acquisition process from sourcing through closing. From 2009-2012 David was involved in various lending business on the private capital side. In 2013, David along with a business partner founded Rockledge a privately owned real estate investment company that invests in under-performing and mismanaged residential, hospitality, and retail properties across the country.
David currently has ownership in over 1,000 multifamily units around NYC and in upstate NY and over 1,500 keys across the country. Throughout his career, David has owned real estate in various asset classes including, multifamily, office, retail, manufactured housing as well as condo’s and co-ops. He specializing in finding properties that require better management or additional capex investment to stabilize cash flows.
David is an active member of the community and serves as the President of the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC. David lives in New York with his wife and three children.
