David McNevin is a Senior Associate and Partner of CBRE’s Net Lease Property Group based in Newport Beach, California. He specializes in advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net lease retail and industrial properties across the United States. David’s primary focus is building and nurturing client relationships within the merchant developer sector, private client space, and institutional arena. CBRE’s NLPG Newport is composed of five skilled professionals specializing in advisory services, 1031 exchange representation, business development, escrow management, financial analysis, graphic design and marketing. Since 2007, we have successfully executed over $2 billion in investment sales within the net lease space.
Before joining CBRE, David began his career as a retail leasing agent in 2019 with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, where he concentrated on landlord representation throughout Southern California. His leasing background equips him with unique insights that add significant value for his clients, particularly in negotiating lease extensions, restructuring leases, and identifying opportunistic purchase opportunities.
