Bio
David Ruby is the founder and chief executive officer of Gemstone Communities, a premier owner and manager of manufactured-housing communities across the United States.
Before founding Gemstone, Ruby served in private equity at Beringea (including board involvement with portfolio companies), preceded by roles in investment banking at PMCF and asset management at Northern Trust. These experiences inform his perspective on capital formation, operations, and portfolio value creation in residential real estate.
Ruby earned an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Western Michigan University.
