Bio
David Vasquez is an Associate Advisor at SVN Commercial Partners. Vasquez specializes in the acquisition and disposition of Retail, Office, and Industrial properties in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Prior to joining the SVN team, Vasquez was advising homeowners on how to avoid the foreclosure process through loan modifications and short sales in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware. Rhode Island, and Connecticut for nearly two years. Prior to this, he also was a college intern for SRS Real Estate, a retail based leasing brokerage in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Vasquez grew up in Bergen County, NJ where he graduated from the Dwight Morrow Academies @ Englewood and went on to be a 3-Year baseball captain at Rutgers University – Newark where he studied Finance with a concentration in Capital Markets. Vasquez graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and now focuses on Investment Sales in the Miami – Fort Lauderdale Metropolitan area. When asked what goals he has as an advisor Vasquez responded, “My goal as a graduate student-athlete working in the commercial real estate industry is to set the example for the next generation that the diligent work ethic we develop as members of a team translates into our professional lives.”
In his freetime, Vasquez enjoys traveling, staying active in the gym, attending concerts, and watching/playing baseball. He is fluent in Spanish and English, and studied Chinese for four years.
