Dean is a Partner at TRADITION COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LLC. Dean’s career and passion for commercial real estate dates back to 1992. His extensive experience and background in “all things real estate” are what Dean enjoys sharing with his clients and customers with the goal of providing the best possible solution. Dean serves on two non-profit advisory boards, and his family created a non-profit organization that raises funds for patients dealing with neuromuscular disorders (“Pickling for a Prayer” and “Pedaling for a Prayer”).
Dean earned a BIS from the University of Minnesota where he was also a member of the Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey Team. Dean is one of three Williamson’s that played hockey for the Gophers as his father Murray was a 1959 graduate, and his daughter Taylor a 2019 graduate. Dean, and his family, stay active at all levels and enjoy pickleball, hiking, biking, outdoor hockey and skiing to name a few. level.
Dean started his career at Frauenshuh in 1992. He has diverse and extensive real estate experience in all markets including office, health care, industrial and retail, with a strong background in development and real estate consulting for a variety of real estate clientele. He has successfully completed more than 15,780 acres of property brokerage and approximately 8.75 million square feet of real estate leasing, development and project management transactions over the years.
Dean earned his Bachelor Degree in Management from the University of Minnesota where he was also a tenured member of the Golden Gopher Hockey Team from 1987–1990. He earned his CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute in 1997. He is a Twin Cities native, residing with his family in Edina.
