Del Markward has been active in office, industrial and retail/commercial real estate since 1987. He is president and founder of the Markward Group, a full service commercial real estate brokerage company and Caracor, LLC, a real estate development company. Prior to establishing the Markward Group in 1996, Del was a major producer for Jackson Cross ONCOR International where he distinguished himself as Industrial Broker of the Year. Del is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR), an international organization of top real estate professionals, which facilitates deals throughout all parts of the United States and most points on the globe. Del has produced an average annual volume of $38 million per year over the past 3 years. He has leased or sold space from 500 sf. to 600,000 sf. A partial list of his clients includes Lucent Technologies, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Verizon, IBM, Air Products and Chemicals, Mack Trucks, Bethlehem Steel, Teredyne, Kraft Foods, Dun & Bradstreet, Royal Ahold, JC Penney, and PepsiCo. Del’s development company, Caracor, LLC, owns and has developed over 450 acres of industrial, retail and residential properties, Mr. Markward is a graduate of LaSalle College High School and Lehigh University. He has served as President of the Philadelphia chapter of SIOR where his fiscal and people skills enabled his appointment to the National SIOR Treasurer’s Committee. He also chaired the 4,500 member Coalition of Commercial Real Estate Association’s (CCREA) award and recognition Gala and serves on the executive committee. Del is married with two children. He coaches baseball, basketball and soccer. His personal time includes baseball, football, tennis, and golf.
