Bio
Dennis is a college graduate (with honors) with a Bachelors of Architecture Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (1985) in Chicago, Illinois. He also attained a Minor in Business Management and is now a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Albanese began his career working in the area of hotel and restaurant design in Memphis, Tennessee. Projects worked on included, Damon’s, Perkin’s, Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn and Hyatt.
In 1987 he came to work for the family business of Albanese Development Corporation, a hotel development/management company which was founded earlier by his father, who was also a real estate broker. For the next 12 years he worked in several capacities to help grow the family business. Activities involved site design and project conceptualization, development , financing and property management, procurement and technology. Those consisted of several Holiday Inns, Hampton Inns and a 83,000 SF Medical Office Complex, all in Illinois. Subsequent to his father’s death in 1999, Mr. Albanese has been responsible for the management of the business and properties. Mr. Albanese lives in Springfield, IL.
