Dennis has over forty-one years of experience in all facets of real estate including commercial and residential sales, land acquisition, sales management, property management and real estate education. Within real estate and sales, since 2015 he has sold and closed $77 million including Race Trac (two sites), WaWa, Big Jim storage (two sites), Colonial Properties apartment sites (two sites), and investment office buildings totaling over 230,000 square feet of space. He has received the prestigious Legacy Award two of past three years.
Dennis was Director of the Commercial Division from 2005 to 2015, managing eighteen commercial specialists covering Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties. This includes over 300 listings of properties for sale and for lease involving over 1.5 million square feet of industrial properties, and one million square feet of retail and office properties. Also, he was part of the management team for the MS&C Commercial Property Management Division with over 600,000 square feet under management. Further still, Dennis was involved with the Special Asset Division and Receivership Division. His career with Michael Saunders & Company covers over twenty-three years including Project Director for the New Homes and Condominiums Division and Asset Management for the Resolution Trust Corporation.
From his beginnings in the very first office of Michael Saunders & Company on St. Armand’s Circle, Dennis has established himself as a trusted resource when it comes to the array of commercial property options on Florida’s Gulf Coast. He is an acknowledged authority on real estate, having served as a senior instructor for Bert Rodgers Schools of Real Estate for nine years, and operating the Dennis Dahm Real Estate Courses in South Carolina for eight years.
