Mr. DiRenzo began his career at Cushman & Wakefield in 1984 as a member of The Financial Services Group, responsible for investment valuation and alternative occupancy analyses. Mr. DiRenzo later entered the Investment Brokerage Division of The Financial Services Group. Some of his major investment sales include the Deutsche Bank and Dial Corporation $83 million Equity Joint Venture for Dial Corporation’s World Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona; Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield 175,000 square foot participating lease in Middletown, New York; Brooklyn Union Gas sale of their 250,000 square foot headquarters building in Brooklyn, New York; and Computer Associates $170 million acquisition, construction and permanent financing for their World Headquarters in Islandia, Long Island.
Mr. DiRenzo joined the Commercial Brokerage Division in 1989 and since 1994; Don has ranked in the Top 100 Brokerage Professionals nationally. Tenant Representation assignments include the restructuring and expansion of Children’s Television Workshop lease at 1900 Broadway for 135,000 square feet and the restructuring and expansion of Bessemer Securities leasehold at 630 Fifth Avenue for 160,000 square feet. Agency assignments include reaching 100% occupancy at Park Avenue Tower by leasing 150,000 square feet in less than 9 months and the disposal of over 400,000 square feet of Union Bank of Switzerland’s space at three locations (1345 Avenue of the Americas, 350 Park Avenue and 535 Madison Avenue) in less than 9 months.
Mr. DiRenzo graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University’s School of Management and Finance. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men’s / Women’s Real Estate Board of New York.
Other charitable and professional interests include – Co-Chairman Heads-Up Organization, and Long Island Head Injury Association, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and Parents Against Childhood Epilepsy (PACE).
