Doug Marcella started the MarWest Company in 1998 after developing numerous relationships in the restaurant real estate industry during his 10 year tenure with Church's and Popeye's Chicken (AFC parent company).
At AFC he served in many capacities including selling surplus Church's Chicken buildings throughout the nation, as well as acting as Franchise Real Estate Director and Corporate Real Estate Director.
Mr. Marcella has experience and understanding of corporate real estate strategic market planning, and the unique relationships between corporate and franchise development partners — all which have helped MarWest Company successfully represent & acquire over 250 sites, as the outsourced extension of the real estate department in numerous concepts for many different markets.
Recently, the MarWest Company has focused its attention to representing a smaller number of non-competing concepts in Central Texas markets and leasing of strategic 2nd generation restaurant and small retail buildings though 3rd party brokerage arraignments, personal and partner ownership and development of new Single Tenant buildings.
