Doug King joined his family's real estate business in 1973 when Jim King Realty still had offices in Holiday and New Port Richey, Florida. He and his family moved to Chiefland in 1974 and he has been active in Residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate and Land Development for the past 29 years. Doug has been involved in community projects and civic organizations since movint to Chiefland. "My father and I helped form the first Board of Realtors in the Tri-County Area". Doug is past President, Vice President and Secretary of the Dixie-Gilchrist-Levy Board of Realtors. He is also a founding Director of Drummond Community Bank, past President of the Chiefland Rotary Club and past president of the Chiefland Chamber of Commerce.
