Ed is currently a managing partner in UCR Houston. Ed is a member of the CCIM Institute and has earned their designation as a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry Ed was formerly Vice President of Grubb & Ellis Retail Properties Division in Houston, Texas. He was consistently one of the company's top-producing retail brokers and earned their Senior Marketing Consultant (SMC) designation and was named to the Henry S. Miller / Grubb & Ellis Chairman's Council. In 1993, Ed joined Lance Gilliam to form Moody Rambin Interests Retail Properties Division. Ed represents several retailers in Houston and South Texas such as PetSmart and Aldi stores Houston roll-out. James still assists Scott Gardner in a long-time representation of Whataburger, Inc. in the greater Houston area as well. Former clients include JC Penney Co., The Home Depot, Circuit City Stores, Conn's Appliances, Brinker International, TGI Friday's and many more. At moodyrambin retail, Ed was responsible for the leasing and development services on prestigious lifestyle projects Town & Country Village (500,000 sf tenants include Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Banana Republic, Chico's, Coldwater Creek, Talbot's, Banana Republic, American Eagle, PF Chang's, Fleming's, Bonefish Grille and many others). Other large-scale promotional centers have included Silverlake Village in Pearland, Texas (500,000 sf which includes Super Target, Kohl?s, Ross, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Pier 1 Imports, Michael's etc.), The Shops at Riverstone in Missouri City, Texas (500,000 sf including Super Target, Home Depot, Kohl's, Bed, Bath & Beyond, PetSmart, Office Depot, Hobby Lobby among others). Ed is currently working with Creekstone Companies on Juban Crossing, a 472 acre mixed-use development in Livingston Parish, east of Baton Rouge, of which he is overseeing the leasing for the first phase of retail of approximately 350,000 sf. Kohl's, Ross, TJ Maxx, Dick's Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Michael's and Southern Theaters have all committed to the project for a fall 2012 opening. Ed is a native Houstonian. In 1986, Ed earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance/real estate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas
