Bio
After earning a degree in Accounting in Guatemala City, Eddy worked for two years as a contract preparer and negotiator in the shipping department of a coffee export company. In 1984, he moved to New York, where he spent four years working in the painting and decorating industry.
In 1988, Eddy relocated to California. After two years in the painting and decorating business, he launched his own company specializing in painting, decorating, and home repairs, which he successfully operated until 2002. His accounting background, combined with hands-on business ownership experience, gave him valuable skills in estimating costs, contract preparation, negotiations, and customer service. These experiences have proven especially beneficial in helping buyers, sellers, and investors understand potential costs and negotiate favorable terms in real estate transactions.
In 2002, Eddy earned his California real estate license through Allied Business School and began working with buyers, sellers, and investors. He obtained his California broker’s license in 2006.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Eddy has remained active in the real estate industry as a full-time agent and broker since 2002. His extensive experience includes navigating the challenging market conditions of 2008 through 2012, during which he worked extensively with short sales and foreclosures. In 2009, he earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation.
In 2012, Eddy returned to New York to be closer to his family.
Having worked through multiple real estate markets and economic cycles, Eddy has successfully represented both buyers and sellers in numerous transactions throughout his career. By consistently putting his clients' best interests first, he has built strong relationships and earned a reputation for exceptional service, resulting in a steady stream of referrals. Client satisfaction remains one of his highest priorities.
