Elijah Brown was born in Toronto, Canada and graduated from Ryerson University as the Valedictorian of his class. Before pursuing real estate, he had a successful career as an elite performer with Cirque du Soleil and Celine Dion. His artistic career brought him to such legendary venues as Radio City Music Hall and the Kremlin in Russia. He held many positions at Cirque du Soleil: Coach, Clown, Acrobat, Character, Assistant to the Artistic Director, and Union Rep. As Union Rep, he negotiated on behalf of all the artists. His career in the theater industry fostered a diligent work ethic and firsthand knowledge of the qualities needed to thrive in a highly competitive field.
Beyond his career in the performing arts, Elijah has always had a great passion for architecture and interpersonal relations. His father was an architect, and Elijah started his own construction company at the age of 20 to renovate and build commercial spaces for clients. Since 2003, he has managed and leased several investment properties for international clientele. Elijah is a Certified Buyer's Representative, an uncommon distinction awarded by REBNY that is held by fewer than 1% of agents in the industry. Well-traveled and with a global outlook, he also speaks French fluently. In his free time, Elijah launched, and continues to work with, a company as part of an initiative to help stabilize and repair neighborhoods that were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.
