Emily Ormsby joined Cousins in August of 2013. As Vice President of Internal Audit, Emily is responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining the Company’s systems of internal controls. Additionally, she performs enterprise risk assessments and develops and executes risk-based internal audit plans approved by the Audit Committee.
Prior to joining Cousins, Emily worked for Pattillo Construction, where she marketed, leased, and managed second-generation industrial facilities as well as managed internal leasing databases and internal reporting. She established accounting and finance policies and procedures for Gray Ghost Ventures, a global impact investment firm where she also coordinated the firm’s budgeting process and developed accountability analytics. Emily gained external audit experience at Fulton & Kozak where she performed audits of private and non-profit organizations.
Emily is a licensed CPA in the State of Georgia.
