As Principal and Managing Director of Lee & Associates Property Management Services, LLC, Eric Phillips leads a high-performing, client-focused team responsible for the entire property management process, including planning, budgeting, operations, maintenance, project management, accounting, and financial reporting.
In addition to his background in property management, Eric has extensive experience as a licensed real estate broker and as an investor and asset manager. He has served as managing partner for a portfolio consisting of over 320,000 square feet of office, retail, and flex-warehouse space. In this role, he was responsible for supervising investments, negotiating transactions, overseeing due diligence, conducting financial analysis, and structuring equity and debt investments for both himself and external investors. His direct experience investing in commercial properties continues to be a valuable resource for the company’s clients.
Eric began his real estate career in 1992 with a small commercial real estate brokerage firm in Monmouth County, New Jersey. During his time there, he provided brokerage services across all asset classes and transaction types and developed the company’s property management service line. After 12 years in that role, Eric was tapped to serve as President of Capital Property Management, where he oversaw that company’s operations, including the financial management and physical maintenance of more than 300 properties. After leaving Capital, he founded Phillips Real Estate, LLC to offer property management and real estate advisory services to a growing client base.
Eric is a licensed real estate broker-associate in New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He and his wife reside in Holmdel, New Jersey, where they raised their two children.
