Eric Sheets responsibilities include supporting and facilitating the growth of the firm’s tenant and landlord representation services, and will also focus on new business development for the company.
Prior to joining MedCore, Mr. Sheets served as Director of Real Estate for USMD Health System for almost three years, managing the company’s real estate portfolio of 70 leased locations totaling over 700,000 square feet of real estate. In this role, Mr. Sheets was responsible for site selection, lease negotiation, and construction management for new medical offices and imaging centers as USMD expanded their physician network across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Mr. Sheets began his career with Tenet Healthcare as a part of the Performance Management and Innovation group, working to decrease costs and improve patient outcomes throughout the health system. This experience laid a valuable foundation for understanding the healthcare industry and operations, which has been used to focus exclusively on healthcare real estate throughout the remainder of his career.
Mr. Sheets holds a Bachelor of Science, Biology degree from Lubbock Christian University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Tech University. Mr. Sheets is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) as well as several other organizations.
