Bio
Erik Charton is Executive Vice President in Savills Montreal office, responsible for industrial land and building sales, leasing, investment sales, and capital markets . He exceeds clients' business objectives by supporting their multi-market corporate strategy, negotiations, site selection, disposition needs, sale-leaseback transactions, and build-to-suit projects. His hard work and commitment are reflected in the longstanding relationships he has sustained with many clients throughout his career.
Over the span of 40 years, Erik has amassed an extensive commercial real estate acumen and executive experience, which he skillfully uses to ensure the highest level of advisory services to clients. He is a respected industry expert in the Montreal region and across Canada, partnering with thousands of tenants, owners, and investors throughout his career. Erik has worked closely with clients representing industrial services and supply chain logistics. His background also includes construction and development, which is invaluable in transactions involving land development, design-build projects, and building redevelopment.
Erik has been a speaker at the Montreal Leasing Conference and the Montreal Real Estate Forum and is often asked to present the industrial real estate market and its trends to company executives, real estate developers, and city officials.
Erik is passionately committed to raising recognition and support for Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada and the West Island Cancer Wellness Center. He served on the development committee of the Montréal Neurological Hospital for two years, as well as the development committee of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) Society of Québec.
