Bio
Espen Hild is an Associate with MDL Group’s Retail Team in Las Vegas, Nevada, a team that is comprised of Buck Hujabre, Brian Singleton, and Brendon Pereira. Espen specializes in tenant and landlord representation across shopping centers and retail properties. He supports leasing and sales transactions by combining market research, data-driven analysis, and hands-on deal execution to help clients make informed real estate decisions.
Espen’s work includes conducting trade area and tenant analyses, advising on pricing and leasing strategy, coordinating property marketing, and managing transaction logistics from initial tours through negotiations, letters of intent, and final lease or sale agreements. He is actively involved in client communications, due diligence, and maintaining detailed databases of listings, prospects, and deal activity to support business development and lead generation.
In addition to his brokerage responsibilities, Espen serves as the Team Coordinator for MDL Group’s Retail Team, where he collaborates closely with the team to ensure operational efficiency, accurate marketing, and organized deal flow. His background includes extensive experience in CRM management, listing platforms, spreadsheet modeling, and marketing coordination within retail-focused brokerage teams, providing a strong operational foundation to his brokerage work.
Espen holds a Nevada Broker-Salesperson License (BS.0147014) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and a minor in Finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Beyond brokerage, Espen is actively involved in the Las Vegas commercial real estate and business community. He is a member of NAIOP Southern Nevada, CCIM Southern Nevada, ICSC, IREM Las Vegas, the Nevada Appraisal Institute, and frequents luncheons and industry events. He also holds executive leadership roles across several collegiate organizations, including serving as President of the UNLV American Marketing Association, a top-five AMA chapter internationally; Founder and Managing Director of AMA’s Mentorship Program; Director of Membership for the UNLV Rebel Venture Fund, and multiple roles within UNLV Real Estate & Business Society.
A native Nevadan, Espen was born in Reno and has lived throughout Northern and Southern Nevada, including Mesquite, and has attended both the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is committed to making a positive impact in the Las Vegas community and building a respected, long-term presence in the commercial real estate industry.
Outside of work, Espen is an avid and competitive tennis player and enjoys staying active through sports, reflecting the discipline, focus, and competitiveness he brings to his professional career. Espen also enjoys reading about Las Vegas history and gives tours of the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, taking pride in being a resident of the greatest city in the world - Las Vegas!
