Evan is primarily responsible for new business development, client management, and all phases of the transaction life cycle. Prior to founding Cornelia Street Partners, Evan spent nearly 10 years at WeWork where he was one of the founding 40 employees. He was a key contributor in building the world’s largest co-working and flexible office provider, bringing the company from less than $50M in annual revenue in 2013 to roughly $4B in 2022. Evan was personally responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing over 15 million square feet of new commercial office transactions across North America, South America, Asia, and Australia. He also led the company’s more recent restructuring efforts across the Americas, helping to reduce the company’s lease obligations by more than $1B annually. Prior to WeWork, Evan was on the acquisitions team at Brickman, a NY based real estate private equity fund. Evan is an active partner in several real estate and technology ventures and currently sits on the Board of Advisors for A-Level Capital, a Johns Hopkins University student-run venture capital firm focusing on seed-level investments primarily in health-tech, enterprise software, biotech, and fintech companies.
