As Managing Director of the firm’s Detroit office, Liesveld also provides oversight of Newmark’s comprehensive, solutions-based service model, which offers a spectrum of professional services that includes brokerage, management, investment services, engineering and accounting.
Liesveld became involved in the building and real estate industries when he joined DeMattia Group in 1987 as a sales associate and has since developed strong relationships with developers, architects, investors, real estate, and construction professionals. Throughout his 32 years in the commercial real estate industry, Liesveld has gained experience in sales and marketing, contract negotiation, large-scaled project implementation and high-level management activities.
