Fred Wilpon is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sterling Equities. He is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the New York Mets. In 2000, he founded and became Chairman of the Brooklyn Baseball Company that owns the Brooklyn Cyclones. Mr. Wilpon received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in 1958. His background includes extensive experience in all aspects of the real estate industry as well as serving as the Senior Executive of many diversified businesses. Mr. Wilpon is a Director of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Loews Corporation, and a member of the JP Morgan Chase Regional Advisory Board.
